On 01/01/1971 , United Arab Emirates has started to cooperate with Egypt.

Egyptian- UAE relations date back to 1971, when a federation was created between the seven Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Qaiwain, Ras al-Khaimah and Fujairah; now the United Arab Emirates.
Egypt has close ties with the UAE based on common interests, believing in the importance of the stability of the two States.
The UAE also realized the importance of Egypt, when former President of UAE Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan taking his historic decision in the October 1973 war to support the national battle until the last fils in his treasury, saying his famous word " Arab oil is not dearer than Arab blood”.
Continuing to support Egypt, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum affirmed the importance of the role and the stability of Egypt, as "the pulsing heart of the Arab nation."
The UAE support to Egypt since the June 30 Revolution increased the Egyptian State's capability to stand up to internal and external challenges and to combat terrorism.
In an effort to confirm the existing brotherly ties based on recognizing the importance of solidarity and joint Arab action by the two parties, the Egyptian-UAE relations are characterized with constant communion between the two countries and senior officials based on mutual cooperation and exchange investment.
