On 01/01/1900 , Greece has started to cooperate with Egypt.

Egyptian Greek economic cooperation has been noticeably active, whether through the meetings of the Ministerial Joint Committee for Economic and Technical Cooperation or through the implementation of development projects.  During the period of 2006-2008, the following projects were financed:
Quality improvement - the training of personnel on quality control in SME’s.
Establishing a center for vocational training in the field of tourism and providing it with the necessary equipment.
Establishing a center to contribute to the creation of new jobs and recruitment.
Training on health services in Sinai - Ferran - Alexandria - Cairo.
Establishing a nursery and a training center for women on handmade crafts in Farafra Oasis.
Further, the following three major projects relating to the Greek community in Egypt have been financed by over EUR 1 million under the supervision of the Greek High Audit Court where the funds are made available through Greek NGOs or Greek governmental bodies:
Renovation of the Greek residential compound in Shatby - Alexandria (funding between EUR 1.5 - 1.7 million).
Renovation of the Greek Hospital in Cairo.
Renovation of St. George Church in Cairo, St. Catherine and the surrounding area in Sinai (funding is EUR 1.5 million).
HEDA, the largest Greek NGO operating in Egypt implemented a large number of projects, including Greece’s participation through the EU, such as South Sinai Development Project, where HEDA is implementing the development component of Jebel Musa in addition to implementing a number of projects funded by Hellinc Aid, namely:
Establishing a kindergarten in Siwa Oasis in Marsa Matrouh governorate.
Establishing a kindergarten in St. Catherine in South Sinai.
Establishing a medical center in the region surrounding St. Catherine Church and Wadi Ferran.
Establishing a center for handicrafts for Bedouin women in the area of St. Catherine.

Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement signed on 24 February 1986.
Agricultural Cooperation Agreement signed in 1987.
Agreement of the establishment of the Egyptian-Greek Business Council in 2002.
MOU on cooperation between Egyptian and Greek diplomatic institutes in 2003.
MOU between the Egyptian Tourism Authority, the Cyprus Tourism Organization and the Greek National Authority in 2004.
MOU on promoting bilateral relations on maritime transport between the Egyptian Ministry of Transport and the Greek Transport and Communications Ministry, signed in 2005.
MOU between the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and the Greek Development Ministry, signed on 8/5/2006 for cooperation in the field of research, exploration and exploitation of oil and gas and discussing the best economic means to transfer and export gas to Greece.
MOU between the Egyptian Standards and Quality Authority and the Greek ELOT in 2006.
