The Joint Committee between Egypt and Mongolia

Historical Background

The Egyptian Mongolian Joint Committee was established pursuant to the Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement signed between both countries in 2004 presided by the Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation and the Mongolian Minister of Finance and Economy. The First Session of the Joint Committee was held in Mongolia in 2007.

First Session held in Ulan Batar on 28- 29 March 2007.

Important Recommendations /Agreements Signed at the Last Session:

At the First Session of the Joint Committee, a joint statement was signed covering different forms of bilateral cooperation, the executive program for cultural, scientific and technical cooperation, in addition to a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and the Mongolian Chamber of Trade and Industry for activating cooperation between businessmen from both countries. On the margin of the First Session meetings, it was agreed to open Mongolian markets to Egyptian medicines and vaccines and to facilitate their registration in Mongolia.
